I WANT TO TRY ALL OF THESE 8D
Tamil-AParticipant@Evan Liu – if we had matchsticks I could even paint little flowers on your nails if you like? to add to the awesomeness of the extra sparkly nailpolish Amaya928 is bringing XD
@penultimate – I’m pretty much going to copy your packing list right there because its perfect :DTamil-AParticipant@ Evan Liu – does the ‘3-1-1’ rule apply to liquids in the checked luggage that goes under the plane? Trying to remember all the rules for plane travel these days gets so confusing OTL
Also I sent you an email, hopefully you received it.@ penultimate – yeah I’m looking to pack light too! Debating on whether the weather calls for 3/4 pants or jeans…probably will only bring a few bottoms and just a bunch of light t-shirts that can roll up really small to go with. Maybe a light jacket or two incase it gets cold? I’ve been advised by my frequently travelling family members that layering up is the key to travel :) Hopefully it’ll just all fit in my tiny suitcase – I guess theres that coin-laundry if we really need to wash stinky clothes XD
Gadgets I’m keeping to a minimum and probs putting in my carry-on backpack, ebook reader (which has an amazingly long battery life – like days and days worth if you were reading non-stop) and perhaps ipad for games on the plane. Maybe my little travel memory-foam pillow so that I can TRY get some sleep on the plane hahaTamil-AParticipantI think the new teahouse page just made my morning…so much delicious Axis and Rhys skin and afterglowiness wow yes please <3
Tamil-AParticipant@Simona Nara – so far I’ve only done one, rendered with pencil with fineliner….I think I’m going to be shy enough as it is with just one! XD Though y’all making me feel like I should be doing a second one so I can give them each one…ehhh
Tamil-AParticipant@ Amaya928 – I do the same, I have a whole shelf of yaoi novels and mangas but it’s near the bottom, still in plain sight but partially blocked by my wash basket so it doesn’t look too sus XD
Though due to an unfortunate accident my mum knows I read and write yaoi with my bestie anyway (even more embarrassing is when she told me it was pretty good and we should consider publishing LMAO). Some of my wall posters are a little sus too, but again, nothing outright.
@Einatsu – I’m glad i’m not the only one doing some gift art for them! I’m going to see how well I go with watercolour painting this stuff, but I’ve scanned in the originals incase I screw it up – watercolours can be a bitch hahaTamil-AParticipant@maddymoonchild – don’t worry, I’m almost 21 and still haven’t had a boyfriend – still haven’t clicked with anyone. Mind you, the few people I’ve somehow ended up on the topic of yaoi haven’t been too fussed over it. I agree with @Simona Nara – I just don’t bring it up unless its brought up by them or by the conversation.
So I get to hang out with all the boys at home instead (the 3 kittens XD). I also am stressing out a little! Trying to get all my work stuff organised before I go is tough, and I’m trying to get 2 chapters ahead on my uni course so that I won’t fall behind too much while I’m gone. Then before sleep the brain is all ‘excitedexcitedexcitedJAPANexcitedexcited’ so I loose sleep haha
@Lisa – Welcome!!
@penultimate – actually I discovered in back in school when it came up as one of those side-links on the starfighter website XD (which I totally wasn’t checking out in class <.<) Probably around the same year as you actually, 09 or 10Tamil-AParticipant@Simona Nara – thats awesome! But yes, I know the feeling – I used to do a lot of crash dieting and no exercise, so it shocked me too to be able to eat as much as I do now and stay in shape! Took a while for my metabolism to stabilise after so much yo-yo-ing though.
And me too – I’m hoping to taste as many new types of food as possible! I wonder how much different foods there will be from what you can get in Australia…man this is so exciting!! :D Especially excited for sushi and deserts mmmm
Tamil-AParticipant@Einatsu – Haha, I dunno about weight loss per se (to be honest I really dislike the scale, it causes so many people so much trauma, it’s not necessarily accurate as a measure of health and especially when people get down to the lower end of BF percentages the scale will stop entirely but they’ll still be shrinking. I mean, your weight will fluctuate depending on time of day, day of the week, proximity to your period…and I come across way too many clients where the number they see dictates their self esteem. I don’t mean to write an essay but seriously, its one of the hardest, saddest parts of my job as a trainer to help people to see that the number on the scale isn’t written in ink on their foreheads for others to judge them by. I like the ‘look good naked’ goals, and the ‘feel comfortable in your own skin’ ones :D Doesn’t mean some weight loss is a bad thing though! If any of this makes sense >.<) but if you’ve ever done any of the beachbody workouts I swear it’s the best high afterwards. And you buzz happily for the rest of the day XD Thats just me though.
Mind you, down here in Australia it isn’t holidays atm – I know I got a little slack around Christmas/New Year time when visiting relatives haha – but mostly I eat well, and eat deliciously and just balance that with regular fitness stuff. Eating healthy doesn’t necessarily mean it has to taste boring/bad – and if you like cooking theres so many awesome recipes out there. Though I have been called absolutely crazy for liking the intensity of the workouts I do tho LOL.
But believe me, I intend to enjoy as much awesome Japanese food as I can up there! Bring on the deliciousness!! Love me some food XD
Okay, I’ll shoosh now – I get too fired up about these topics OTLTamil-AParticipant@Alyssa Jennings – omg Insanity buddy!! :D I’m am also just getting back into it this week after I hurt my foot 6 weeks back (note to self, foots don’t appreciate you dropping 210 kilo bikes on them -_- ). Have you done any of Chalene Johnson or Tony Horton’s workouts?
Tamil-AParticipant@Alyssa Jennings – Yess I love tote bags – they’re super handy when I only wanna carry a few things from my motorbike bag, and they roll up nice and small :D Seriously tho, your designs are super cute *U*
@penultimate – oh god I know the feels – THE FULL SIZE REED PRINT DO WANT D8. But money. *sigh* I’ve used the trip as motivation too! Have been trying to do a little more cardio since most of the time I like to do weights, so that I won’t get too tired with all the walking around we’re going to be doing. Am actually loving the change up tho, I don’t know if any of you guys in america have seen any of the teambeachbody fitness infomercials on tv but their programs are pretty fun to do! (at least in terms of actually finding cardio tolerable >.<)Are Vanessa Bedoya or Anna Ramm here in the forum yet?
Tamil-AParticipant@Alyssa Jennings – aah such cute tote bags!!! I might have to replace the Kuroshitsuji one I have thats completely broken and worn on the inside. Seriously, stuff keep sliding inside the lining and I loose keys and cards and stuff I need because its goes all hide-and-seek on me XD And yesssss, I keep vowing to save money but it never happens because of awesome things like Teahouse chapter releases haha
Tamil-AParticipant* who you
